A longer duration does not bring any further improvement due to the strong saturation of the bronchi. In an acute condition, it is more sensible to do 2 times 15 minutes per day to sufficiently clear the airways. It is important in both methods that you always keep an eye on your horse and gradually increase the treatment as slowly as possible. Concentrations, as often used in practices and clinics (7-8%), are not recommended for private use, as unaccustomed horses may experience a spasmodic cough. In practice and clinic settings, this can be interrupted with medication. An increase over several weeks is advisable. We recommend using 3-4% saline (similar to the East and North Sea climate). ...more tips for building a brine chamber

Depending on the available options, a trailer, pasture tent, box, stable, shelter, carport, and much more can be converted into a sole chamber. 
The materials used range from wood, to OSB boards, foils, and PVC slats in the entrance area. It is important that the brine nebulizer is located outside the chamber so that it does not come into contact with the brine mist. A common misconception is that it becomes very humid in the brine chamber. This is not the case, as a very fine and dry mist is created. For comfortable operation and protection against dust and dirt, place the brine nebulizer at about hip height. 
Depending on preference, a rigid or flexible piping can be installed in the brine chamber. Most of our customers use HT100/110 piping for the rigid installation. A pipe is laid through a wall into the brine chamber. Ideally, the pipe is positioned at a height out of reach of the animal.

"If you want to set up a trailer or a tent, or if you want to create a temporary brine chamber, it is advisable to work with a flexible hose that can optionally be connected to a wall penetration. You can find a flexible hose and a wall penetration in our online shop. In the trailer, the brine nebulizer is either in the saddle chamber or outside the trailer. However, please remember to place the device in a dry and frost-proof location."

BRINE LARGE-AREA NEBULIZER FOR BOXES, TENTS, OR TRAILERS
The brine large-area nebulizer equosonic Mobile III operates as an ultrasonic nebulizer almost silently. A flexible supply tube included in the starter package with a diameter of 100 mm directs the mist into the horse box, trailer, or tent. Protecting rooms with cut-to-size tarpaulin material from drafts ensures even mist distribution. The horse freely inhales the mist without increased breathing effort – for calm, stress-free nebulization.

Through room nebulization, the horse can also absorb the brine through the skin, which supports skin and coat care.

Which package is right for me and what is the advantage of the Mobile Pack?

The Mobile Pack is an internal tank that converts the equosonic Mobile III device into a 2-chamber system and creates new application possibilities. 
Using the Mobile Pack protects the device's technology because it no longer comes into contact with the solution. This also reduces the amount of solution needed for an application. Additionally, the Mobile Pack simplifies use, cleaning, and sterilization. Our newly developed Mobile Pack is unique worldwide.

The Mobile Pack is a consumable item as it is exposed to ultrasonic waves and thus wears out. Please follow the application instructions provided to achieve the longest possible service life. Nevertheless, the Mobile Pack must be replaced after a certain time.

For trailer inhalation, we recommend the Mobile Pack Starter Package 50mm with our highly flexible hose. A wall feed-through is also available in the shop.

For inhalation in a fixed chamber, all variants can be used. It depends on the design possibilities of the chamber and which piping or introduction is chosen.

Warning: The 100 mm screw adapter is not heat resistant. Please protect from heat and direct sunlight.

The professional nebulizer series equosonic Mobile III is suitable for nebulizing inhalation solutions in the field of airway application, especially for applications in the deeper airways. For room nebulization, the generated aerosol can also be used around skin applications.

Nebulization is used to generate aerosol and can help humidify the airways. Nebulized solutions can distribute in different areas of the airways depending on particle size, breathing technique, and application situation.


The power of salt

"For inhalation, we exclusively recommend pure pharmaceutical salt. This is mined in salt mines and subsequently processed according to the highest quality standards. Inhalation flexible and everywhere?

"You don't have a power outlet in the stable for using one of our devices? No problem! With our optionally available power bank, you can perform between 3 and 6 treatments and also have a flashlight with you."


However, the power bank is not intended for movement during inhalation. In our assessment, movement during inhalation is not beneficial, as the residence time of the aerosols in the finest bronchioles is too short with accelerated breathing for them to settle on the mucous membranes. They would then be immediately expelled again.
