As a family-run company, Medizintechnik Hartwig GmbH has been active in the field of veterinary medicine for over 25 years. Through many years of experience and close collaboration with customers and veterinarians, the company develops practical solutions for everyday use with animals. Managing director Walter Hartwig gained early experience with ultrasonic nebulizers – among other roles as technical director of Medizinelektronik Thome. There, the company was one of the early providers of ultrasonic nebulizers for humans and horses. Since then, he has continued to advance this technology to this day.

Managing Director Walter Hartwig is responsible for the areas of sales and production. Before his current appointment, he worked for almost 30 years in human medicine as the emergency service director of the German Red Cross. For many years, he bred Scottish Galloway cattle and marketed innovative treatment options for free-ranging cattle.
